Spiritual Death – The Passing Of the Ego

In all religious and spiritual training, “death” is considered to be the “activity of being” that is energetically related to transcending. In conscious spiritual death, you are transcending everything up to now, and opening to the unknown. Once you are “reborn,” your next task is to die again.

The purpose of being “made flesh,” and entering into this physical realm, is to share “values” with others – hopefully through a loving interaction; and to learn specific “lessons” through life’s-challenges.

During each lifetime, we tend to attach all of our experiences to the objects of our encounters. When we die, however, we must leave all of these experiences behind. This includes:

  • Your “Wealth” (your acquired possessions),
  • Your “Titles” (your acquired positions of power),
  • Your “Knowledge” (your acquired intellectual information),
  • Your “Family” (your attachments to parents, siblings, mates, and offspring),
  • Your “Culture” (your attachments to a particular society)
  • Your “Religion” (your attachments to a particular type of worship of God or form of Spiritual Practice)
  • Your “Nationality” (your attachments to a particular type of ethnic or political tradition)

All of your acquired perceptions of “truth” must be left behind, and cannot be taken into the next realm. This is why Daoist disciples are taught that when they meditate, they must learn to sit, surrender, and “die.” By consciously learning to surrender their attachments to all people, places, and things, they can eventually dissolve their Conditioned Mind and Acquired Identity, and begin to awaken their Original Spiritual Mind to attract something “new.” This allows the disciples to spiritually transform their lives.

Physical Death – The Passing Of The Body

The following teaching is introduced to Daoist Priests in order to assist an individual with the physical death and passing of a loved one (especially the passing of a parent).

Just Before They Pass-Over

After energetically clearing the room, approach the individual who is about to pass. If they have slipped into unconsciousness, softly whisper into their Right Ear (corresponding to the Yin – Realm of the Dead) the following:

  1. You Are Loved
  2. You Will Be Missed
  3. We Will Be Fine Without You

Then thank them for the role that they played in your life (like an actor).

Wish them well in their next life – and acknowledge all of the parts that they played and the specific skills that they taught and developed within you during this lifetime.

Next, create and envelop their physical body inside a Divine Energy Bubble, and connect their encapsulated spirit to the Celestial Realm. Hold this Divine spiritual state until they pass.

To See and Communicate with their Spirit – After They Have Passed

If Your Father (or Male Friend) Has Just Passed:

  • Say the sacred sound incantation “HREEM” (representing Loving Kindness and Compassion).
  • Then imagine a White Energetic Drop forming within the center of your head, inside the center of your Upper Dantian.
  • With your imagination, follow this White Energy Drop as it descends the center of your body and enters into the center of your Heart.
  • Next, feel an energetic mist fill the room. You should now be able to see them and communicate with their spirit within this energetic mist.

If Your Mother (or Female Friend) Has Just Passed:

  • Say the sacred sound incantation “SHREEM” (representing Glory)
  • Then imagine a Red Energetic Drop forming within the center of your abdomen, inside your Lower Dantian.
  • With your imagination, follow this Red Energy Drop as it ascends up the center of your body and enters into the center of your Heart.
  • Next, feel an energetic mist fill the room. You should now be able to see them and communicate with their spirit within this energetic mist.

Dealing With The Mourning Period After They Have Died

During the mourning period after a death, emotions will come in waves. The following meditation is used to assist you in getting through the grieving process.

  •  Take time to imagine the recently departed individual floating upward through the sky inside a Hot-air Balloon. They are smiling, waving, and extremely happy.
  • Thank them for the role that they played in your life (like an actor). Wish them well in their next life – and acknowledge all of the parts that they played and the skills that they taught and developed in your life.
  • Then, each time that you feel the emotional burden and loss of this loved one – think of this sudden surge of emotions as a Sandbag that has unexpectedly dropped from the Hot-air Balloon, and has unintentionally landed on top of your head. Simply remove the Sandbag and continue to release the memories.
